It's true: most teens living on the Bay of Fundy are located in small towns and rural areas. But just because they're not near malls & movie theatres doesn't mean they don't know how to have fun.
It's a fairly common sight to see kids of all ages 'wharf jumping' on a hot summer's day. Since the water temperature is only about 10 degrees you can imagine that it's quite a refreshing dip. Needless to say, they don't linger but use the tidal wharf ladders to scoot back up and do it repeatedly.
Oddly, you never see adults doing this...brrrrrrrr!

Hi, me and my family are looking to relocate in New-Brunswick from Alberta. St-John looks like a nice place. I have a few questions for you. Can you swim at beaches around St-John in the summer or is it too cold. Is the tide dangerous ,does it come in really fast? What would be a good place to live about 30-40 minutes out of the city if you want to be on the coast near the water.
I hope I am not giving you too much work! By the way your blog is a good source of information and fun to read!!
10 degrees? Really?
Funny, when I first came to Parrsboro I used to bring my bathing suit but after the first year I didn't bother ;D
